[ fig. 1 ]
Don’t believe everything you read on the internet. I’m not a professional poker player—I can hardly shuffle a deck of cards. My claim to fame, instead, is breaking both legs at the same time when I was eight (see figure 1).
Since then, I’ve managed to avoid serious injury while doing the following:
Branding, manifesto writing, taglines and brand guidelines
Company and product naming
Concept development
Script writing for TV, radio and OLV
Headline writing for print, OOH and OLA
Websites, landing pages and emails
Organic and paid social
Contextual and ambient creative
Strategy and positioning
Brochures, collateral, catalogs and reports
Trade shows, events and activations
Consumer interviews
Creative audits
New-biz pitches
Client-facing presentations
And you have my word that all such work has been for clients in industries as varied as banking & finance, sports & entertainment, engineering, education, defense, biotech, regular tech, transportation, CPG, professional services and food & beverage.
Which means all you have left to learn is the legs story. For that, send a note to kevin.macphee15@gmail.com.
